Flare

There are 2 things "wrong" with this photo, underexposure and the sun is causing a giant lens flare. I think they make this picture worth posting. This one was taken on base, on top of the BX parking garage.

Flag Retirement

It might seem a little unpatriotic to burn flags, but in all actuality it is the correct way to dispose of flags that are unfit to fly. This was taken in Belle Fourche over the 4th of July. I thought that the flags and the flames were the focal points of the photo, so I used a lack of color to help them stand out. Hope you like it.

I don't know what it is about silhouettes, I just can't get enough of them.

Zipper

The infamous Zipper, this thing scared the hell out of me when I was younger. This is the east end of the carnival that my home town hosts every year. I didn't ride any rides this 4th but couldn't pass up a photo op.

Sorry I hadn't posted for so long, I tried twice and had problems. I will do my best to not have such a lengthy absence again.
