Flag Retirement
It might seem a little unpatriotic to burn flags, but in all actuality it is the correct way to dispose of flags that are unfit to fly. This was taken in Belle Fourche over the 4th of July. I thought that the flags and the flames were the focal points of the photo, so I used a lack of color to help them stand out. Hope you like it.

You know I think to many people don't know that about old flags!
I like how you had the color of the flags and flames stand out.
Of course it's the respectful thing to do....look at these guys, they wouldn't burn a good flag. Very good idea to use color the way you did in this photo! I think it's wonderful! What a conversation piece! PaminOKC
And leave it to the VFW of BF to burn a flag in style == by BBQ'ing it! I love these guys, makes me miss Dad.
