Wifey's shot

This is a shot taken by Mandy outside of Alamogordo, NM. I think she did great. The sunset was amazing that evening. Not a lot of description needed. I wish the sun went down like this every night.

Tree Web

A canopy of trees outside Granny's house on Christmas day. I probably wouldn't have taken this picture if Pam hadn't pointed it out. I love how the trees stage down from large, strong branches to fine, fragile twigs. It reminds me of a spider web. The stark contrast is why I prefer this one in B&W.

Reflection pool

This pond is near Granny's house in Rural Oklahoma. I wasn't even going to take pictures that evening but my mother-in-law thought it would be nice to go up into the hills. If we hadn't gone I wouldn't have this photo, thanks Pam. Plain sunset.....plain pond, but put them together....beautiful!

Plateau

Long Vacation, and a long break in posts, sorry. This was taken outside of Alamogordo NM, not the prettiest city in the world, but their sunset that day was amazing. We had to detour south through New Mexico because of the nasty storm last week.

The clouds and the little bit of light on the cliffs are the two points that really make this photo good. You need to enlarge the photo by clicking on it to get the full effect.
