Blue Angels

Holy monkey I love this picture! I know on my last post I had said that I would put more Sedona photos up, but I went to an air show this weekend and couldn't resist posting this one. They are the Blue Angels, the Navy/Marines exhibition team, they fly FA-18 Hornets, and did a fantastic job. The Air Force Thunderbirds are still my favorite ( I'm sort of biased) but these guys are a close second. I shot almost all of the show in black and white, and overall like the results. Hope you enjoy it.

Bell Rock at 6:33am

Mandy and I drove up to Sedona yesterday to catch the sunrise and this is one of the results. We woke up at 4am to make it there in time for the sunrise and it was worth every hour of lost sleep. I have several more Sedona shots that I will be sharing over the next few days, I hope you like them.

Sunset Gap

This was taken last weekend, I think the clouds try to pull your eye away from the two bluffs, I like it. Tomorrow Mandy and I will be there again, in search of fall colors. Wish us luck.

The sun was going down and casting nice shadows. Sometimes desert sunsets give off an orange light which in this case made the red rock even more stunning. I love Sedona, if we move we will miss it.

Sedona Chapel Sepia

Sedona again. Here is the Red Rock Chapel, a beautiful church set right into the rock. I am going to post two versions of this photo, a black and white with a sepia filter and the next will be full color. Both designed specifically for your enjoyment.
