Sunset Point
This shot was taken at the same time and place as the previous post "Blue mountains". My eye seems to be drawn to sunscapes and silhouettes lately. Not sure why. I believe the plant in the foreground is some sort of octillo.I don't know if the Brim Fire in Sedona has made national news or not. I hope they can contain it soon, it got within 1/2 of a mile of one of our favorite spots, Slide Rock. Those 100 days without rain last year are really taking a toll.
Beth left Phoenix today, she is headed back home for a while. Mandy and I wish her the best during her newest chapter.
I will be in South Dakota for the 4th, I can't wait!

Another beautiful shot. And yep, that's an ocotillo (you just forgot one "o" oooooh nooooo)....there I added a few for you ;o) I can't decide if I should come up to SoDak for the 4th...what do you guys think?
This is a very soothing photo. I like that the colors are warm & calming. You are great at sunsets & other reflections. I miss Beth too! We LOVE you Beth! Pam in OKC
