Freedom
A condor overhead at the Grand Canyon. This guy started his ascent down in the canyon. He continually circled, climbing with each turn. When we stopped paying attention to him he was almost out of sight. He was riding "thermals", hot air rising, and never flapped his wings once, pretty amazing.

Love it! This guy is beautiful & I love the sun flares around his head. If I get plastic surgery, I'd probably request wings!
Is this one of the pictures that you got leaning over the railing at the Canyon last summer? Seemed like every time I looked, you and Eric were risking life and limb to get a picture. I really like this one and it was amazing to see the birds climb on the air currents.
